HALLOWEEN

Caroline's Halloween costume comes with a long story. I had originally ordered her a Dorothy costume, but somehow with all the chaos and all of the boxes that have been delivered to our house (early online Christmas shopping) it was lost. That is when Mom and I went on a search for a new costume (the bumblebee costume...see earlier post). When Halloween approached I really didn't want to dress her up in the same costume (that would be no fun)...so I went on a search of the house for Dorothy again, but no luck. At 4:00 on Halloween I decided that she would either be the bumblebee or a VT cheerleader because Dad and Melissa had brought her back one of those outfits from a ballgame. I didn't have any tennis shoes to go with the cheerleader and I really wanted one of the face tatoos to complete the costume....no luck finding one. Then Mom just happened to go into the bank and Kim Williams said that she had a hand made Dorothy costume that her daughter wore when she was little....probably about 15-18 years ago and she could put her hands on it in just a few minutes. We already had the shoes and accessories because it was what we had originally planned. Our fabulous babysitter braided Caroline's hair for a complete finished look. Thanks, Mom, Kim, and Toot! She really didn't want to pose for pictures so the facial expression is not the best, but you get the idea. That is Toto or as Caroline would say Lexi in the Basket!

Luke really wants to be Toto for Halloween, but he would not like the crowd or the basket! Doesn't he look like he feels left out?

Halloween is here...Let's carve our pumpkin!

BeBe is such a big help around our house. She came over the weekend before Halloween ready to carve our pumpkin.....if not for her I am not sure we would have carved it! Here is the finished pumpkin and Caroline loved it. Thanks BeBe :)

Pony Rides are Fun

This is Caroline's bumblebee costume that she wore at Daelyn and Dutchie's Birthday Costume party. All of the children there had precious costumes, but I don't have any pictures of them...to busy chasing Caroline around to be a photographer. She had a great time at the party riding ponys, jumping in the bounce house, and playing with her friends.

Pony rides are so much fun! Caroline really wants one for Christmas, but her Daddy says no!

Fun at GG's

Every afternoon that we go outside and play, Caroline immediately runs across the yard saying "GG", so we go over for a visit. GG has found some really old toys that Caroline loves to play with and of course she gets a treat every time before we leave (M&M's). She has also learned the family tree from all of the pictures at GG's. She can name almost everyone from a picture and that is good since the family tree is pretty big!

I am a Big Girl!

Caroline started her new Sunday school class in September and she has perfect attendance so far...thanks Gan! We are all dressed up and off to church in the golf cart.

Look at me on the far side of the table sitting like a big girl and ready for my lesson. We even got to paint pumpkins to take home!

Baby Deer

BeBe and Pops found this place where Caroline could feed baby deer. She absolutely loved it.
