Summer 09

We have had a great summer!  School started today so I figured I would atleast give a small summary in pictures of what we have been doing all summer. 

Our biggest project this summer has been:

It has been a huge headache, but will be worth it in the next few weeks.  I hope they are going to start on the concrete and fence on August 24....just in time for labor day!  We can finally swim in it, but you can imagine what a mess it makes with the kids in and out of it with all of the dirt and mud!

We went to the beach in June with Ricky and Ada - Mom and Mr. Gene kept the girls:

   needless to say...we had a blast!

We stayed the remainder of the week and spent our time with Wes' family:

We went to Bible School.  I even taught the crafts classes at bible school with the much needed help of Bebe.  Maybe I have that backwards...Bebe taught the crafts classes with my help.  I love her!!!

We welcomed Levi Colin Butler into the world!  We are so excited for Ricky and Ada!

   

We went to Busch Gardens twice.  I only have pictures from the first time:

  We have had a busy summer, but it has been a blast!  I am sure I have left off lots of things, but this sums it up pretty good!
